​The Extra Tuition Fund is funding allocated to Woodpecker Court by the Department for Education for us to target at small group intervention to catch up for lost learning over the Covid-19 pandemic. We have chosen to use this funding to support us to extend the provision day by 30 minutes. In this time we are mostly focusing on small group intervention and tutoring in reading, writing and numeracy to try and improve the relationship between age and stage where appropriate. These interventions take place 3 times a week for all eligible students for at least half an hour per session.
