Woodpecker Court Community Farm

Woodpecker Court Community Farm

In 2018 our collection of animals on site existed as a therapeutic provision for our students. We then developed animal care as a curriculum area, and developed the idea of making the animals accessible to the public in the heart of the community as a “community farm”.

Four years later and we have a wide variety of species, as you can see from the profiles, lovingly cared for by a large team of staff, students and volunteers. They are available to see along the walk from Adelaide Road by Eythorne Elvington Primary School, through to the woodland entrance at the Tilmanstone Welfare Club.

They are available to see during daylight hours. Many people have fed back positively to us about the farm, especially as an outlet for families during the Covid-19 lockdowns. We are delighted to be able to share them with you, all we ask is the you follow the guidance on the farm noticeboard.  Follow us on Facebook for the most update news too!
